Progress:
I finished my first of 9 today - The Manhattan by Emmaline Bags! It's made out of waxed canvas with cork accents. Great size, easy to follow instructions. The hardest part was shortening the metal zipper to 21 inches...there must be easier ways to do this, I just haven't quite figured it out yet.
I finished 2 Wax and Wool Totes (Noodlehead) although I didn't use wool or wax and altered the pattern a bit. The bag on the left is all cork with leather handles, while the one on the right is a blend of cork and a wonderful hedgehog canvas fabric (how cute is that fabric?!). I added recessed zipped closures to both bags, made them one inch taller complete with a built in computer sleeve. Love them! Now I need to sew up some clothing instead of bags :)
First piece of Make Nine 2019 clothing finished --Sew Liberated's Matcha Shirt! I made it in a double gauze which was fun although perhaps a little bulky in the collar. Bring on the warmer weather!
