I was looking for a shrug knit pattern with a bit of structure to be worn over a dress. That's when I found this great pattern for the Bianca Knit Bolero at Sinclair Patterns.
The orange version was my sample run with some fabric from my (way too large!) fabric stash. I really love how it turned out! Pretty easy to stitch up, even though my serger was not functioning at the time.
I was trying this pattern out because I wanted to make a shrug to wear at my friend's wedding. She's a dog lover, specifically a corgi lover, and I had the honor of walking her dog down the aisle during the ceremony. I found this perfectly themed fabric at Spoonflower Fabrics and made up the wedding shrug. So fun!
