A bucket list item checked off...my Steinbach ornament collection will be displayed in the Hobby Hall exhibit at the Washington State Fair this year. My mom, sister and I all collect Steinbach ornaments; my one and only collection!
You can see the full size tree below, made by my dad. Every year at Christmas we set up this tree with Steinbach ornaments (and don't worry, we have a live tree for all the other ornaments too). For the exhibit case, my husband made a mini version of the tree for the ornaments- perfect!
I love the craftsmanship of Steinbach ornaments, all handmade and featuring subjects taken from art, literature and folklore from all over the world.
Funny to be posting about this in August but the fair opens on Labor Day Weekend. Hope the crowds enjoy these ornaments as much as I do!
