My friend and I have been marvelling at the beauty of Wiley Slough & Fir Island this Fall.
After a scouting trip in the pouring rain, we've enjoyed two other beautiful early mornings.
The trumpeter swans and northern harriers are out in abundance during these months. I'm still working on focus for those birds in flight, especially the quick flying harriers. I used a monopod to help with and to keep mobile, but on our next outing, I will try a tripod to see if I can get the photos more sharp.
