&1 More Photo: Lunar Eclipse

January 21st offered up quite the celestial moment -- a Super Wolf Blood Moon Eclipse! What's that you might ask?!

A super moon is when the moon is closest to the earth so it appears extra large in the sky. A wolf moon is a full moon in January and a blood moon is when the moon appears reddish in color as it is illuminated by sunlight filtered and refracted by the earth's atmosphere.

On top of all of that, it was a full lunar eclipse and our Seattle weather cooperated so we could see this event in its full glory! And it certainly didn't disappoint (although my night time photos are a work in progress).
